Who We Are
Sure Good Foods is an international food trading company headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario. Founded in 2017 and rooted in the Forgan family's 1945 Winnipeg meat-packing heritage, the company sources proteins, produce, and ingredients from producers worldwide and delivers to commercial buyers across more than 70 countries.
With C$2.1 billion in annual sales (2025), 16 global offices, and a team of 150, Sure Good Foods operates an independent food trading network in Canada.
What We Source
The company's product lines span six categories across two divisions:
Frozen Proteins
- Pork — Access leading pork producers worldwide, with specialty programs including RWA, G.A.P., California Prop 12-compliant, and organic pork.
- Beef — Source beef from established supply partners across North America, Europe, South America, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Chicken — Partner with leading chicken producers across North America, Europe, and South America.
- Turkey — Procure turkey through established global partnerships with full technical and logistics support.
- Lamb & Goat — Source lamb, mutton, and goat from whole carcasses to primals, available fresh and frozen.
Produce & Ingredients
- Fruits & Vegetables — Complete line of IQF fruits and vegetables including organic options, juices, concentrates, and purees.
- Potatoes — Procure frozen French fries, hash brown patties, and potato wedges in straight-cut, crinkle-cut, and steak-cut formats.
- Pulses — Source chickpeas; green, French green, and red lentils; pinto, black, and red beans; and canary seed.
